hey did u ever find out? cuz im wondering too. let me know if u do pleasee.
I mostly use my built in camera for my Yahoo Messenger, as a webcam. But now I'd like to record a little movie of myself. When I launch my Camera Utility, and hit the "Movie" tab, I can't get the record button to become available. That is, unless I click on a still image I once took from the slider bar in the lower navigation. Then the Record button becomes available, but won't actually work. What can I do?

In this matter, it's advised to always keep your webcam drivers up-to-date. You can download the latest firmware / driver by accessing the manufacturer's website and search for your device. If this didn't fixed the problem, try to open the Utility, go to Video tab, press the Settings button and choose Default Settings. By doing this, all the modifications made to the option of the program will be restore to default. The record button should become available.
I bought Sony Vaio VGNCR24G last month and I am not able to use the built-in camera utility. While opening the program, a blue screen appears indicating "NO INPUT". As a result the record and capture button are not functioning. What should I do to rectify the problem?

In order to fix the issue, go to Sony Support page, identify your laptop model, select your operating system and download the files from Camera section. After that, go to Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Device Manager, expand the Imaging devices list, right-click on the driver and select Update Driver Software. Use the Browse option to navigate to the installation package, select the driver and install it following the self-explained instructions. If the package doesn't contain the VAIO Camera Capture Utility software, you can visit review page of the product in order to obtain a link to the official download. Alternatively, you can use another webcam capture utility from Software Informer database.
I bought Sony Vaio two weeks ago. I cannot use camera capture. Please help me.
